What it's like to work with me
Working with Me
If you’re dealing with ongoing gut symptoms and aren’t sure what to do next, you don’t have to figure it out alone. My role is to help you understand what’s going on, reduce symptoms, and build a plan that works for you.
When you work with me, you can expect:

Evidence-based guidance that fits into your life
Clear explanations, not vague rules or fear-based advice
A focus on predictability, flexibility, and long-term relief
Support that meets you where you are, without judgment
What this looks like in practice
I take a practical, collaborative approach to care. I bring the nutrition expertise, and you bring deep knowledge of your own body, history, and life—both matter, and both guide the plan we build together

Because of that, we don’t default to more restriction or “trying harder.” Restrictive diets can be a useful tool at times, but they’re not meant to be permanent. Where possible, we work toward expanding your diet—not just avoiding symptoms. We want to increase flexibility, confidence, and comfort around food as well.

Our focus is on understanding what’s actually driving your symptoms and using the right tools—food and non-food—at the right time to address your specific symptoms. My goal isn’t just symptom improvement—it’s helping you understand your body well enough that you feel confident managing your gut long after our work together ends.
Areas of focus
Many of the people I work with don’t start with a clear diagnosis.
If you’re dealing with ongoing bloating, distention, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, or urgency—and you’re not sure what’s going on—I can help you figure out what to do next.
That may include identifying the most likely reasons for your symptoms, reviewing any testing you've done, and recommending additional testing or visits to other healthcare providers.

My primary specialty is Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I’ve completed advanced training through MONASH University, the gold standard for IBS care, and work with clients across all IBS subtypes. Care is always individualized, and we adjust strategies based on how your body responds.

I also support people who have been diagnosed with
Microscopic Colitis
GERD
Celiac Disease
Systemic Nickel Allergy Syndrome (SNAS)
Diverticulitis/Diverticulosis
and more
Who I’m not a fit for
As of today, I don't provide nutrition management for active Crohn’s disease or Ulcerative Colitis. I want to make sure you’re supported by the right team for your needs and if I don’t think I’m a good fit for you, I’m gladly point you in the right direction!
How to get started
I see clients through Nourish, a tele-health platform that makes it easier to access high-quality nutrition care through insurance.

Here’s what that means for you:

Virtual appointments you can attend from home or work
Transparent insurance verification before your first visit

Many clients pay little to nothing out of pocket, depending on their plan

No surprise billing guarantee—if estimates are incorrect, you’re not responsible
Nourish works with many major insurance plans, including most commercial plans such as Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and others.
Coverage varies by plan, but many people are surprised by how accessible care can be. If you have a Medicare plan, please keep reading below.
A note for those with Medicare
Medicare coverage for nutrition counseling is unfortunately limited and usually does not include nutrition support for gut health conditions like IBS.
With this in mind, I do offer lower cost cash options than Nourish and after the first two sessions, we can do shorter, 30 minute appointments to keep costs down.
